Shiitakes range in color from tan to dark brown an dare characterized by broad, umbrella shaped caps, wide open veils and tan gills.
They can be cooked on the grill or pan fried for a side dish. Freshness is the key to our success in growing special mushrooms and all Hopewell organic shiitakes are vacuum cooled to insure longer shelf life.
