The largest of the commercially available mushrooms with a tan/brown cap. A long growing cycle gives a deep, meat-like flavor and substantial texture. Serve them whole or sliced, grilled, baked or deep-fried, or as an appetizer, side-dish or entree. Portabella Mushrooms are also great in stir-fries, sautés and sauces. Freshness is the key to our success in growing special mushrooms and all Mother Earth organic portabellas are vacuum cooled to insure longer shelf life
